EATWELL GUIDES

In 2016, Public Health England designed “The Eatwell Guide” as a nutrition guide for the general population to achieve a healthy and balanced diet. Plant-Based Health Professionals and The Vegan Society have adapted their own versions. These can be a very useful visual tool for day to day portion sizes:

- 1/3 starchy carbohydrates
- 1/3 fruit & vegetables
- 45-80g of protein
- Some healthy unsaturated fats
- Plant-based dairy alternatives as a source of 700-1000mg calcium
- 6 to 8 glasses (250ml) or 2litres of water
